l = 55 \: cm \\ p = 200 \: cm \\ 2( l+b ) = 200 \\ 2(55 + b) = 200 \\ 55  + b =  \frac{200}{2}  \\ 55 + b = 100 \\ b = 100 - 55 \\ b = 45 \: cm

The breadth of a rectangular sheet is 55 cm

Solution:

Given that,

Breadth = ?

Length = 55 cm

The perimeter of rectangle is given as:

Perimeter = 2(length + breadth )

From given,

Perimeter = 200 cm

Substitute in formula

200 = 2(55 + breadth )\\\\55 + breadth = \frac{200}{2}\\\\55 + breadth = 100\\\\breadth = 100 - 55\\\\breadth = 45

Thus breadth of a rectangular sheet is 45 cm
