Dimension of box = ( 15 × 12 × 9 ) cm

Side of cube = 3 cm

No. of Cubes box can contain =

\frac{Volume\:of\:box}{Volume\:of\:cube}

= \frac{15\times12\times9}{3\times3\times3}

= 5 × 4 × 3

= 60

Do, it can contain 60 cubes in it .

If the height of box become 8 .

No. of cubes box can contain :

\frac{Volume\:of\:box}{Volume\:of\:cube}

= \frac{15\times12\times8}{3\times3\times3}

= 5 × 4 ×  \frac{8}{3}

=  \frac{160}{3}

= 53.333 or 53

So it can contain 53 boxes ...
