So, the roots are 1,1+b,1−b.1,1+b,1−b.
Also,,
1(1−b)(1+b)=−DA1(1−b)(1+b)=−DA
1−b2=−11−b2=−1
b2=2b2=2
b=±2–√b=±2
Both the solutions for bb are valid because either yields the roots 1,1+2–√,1−2–√.
