AB is the longest side of the triangle ABC.
then,
AB > AC
(as AB is the longest side then, it is longer than any other side)
angle C > angle B -----------(i)
and
AB > CB
angle C > angle A ----------(ii)
adding (i) and (ii)
2 ( angle C) > angle A + angle C
by adding angle B in both sides
3 ( angle C) > angle A + angle B +angle C
as sum of all angles of a triangle = 180°
so,
3 (angle C) > 180°
angle C > 60°
Thus, proved that Angle C is > 60°.
then,
AB > AC
(as AB is the longest side then, it is longer than any other side)
angle C > angle B -----------(i)
and
AB > CB
angle C > angle A ----------(ii)
adding (i) and (ii)
2 ( angle C) > angle A + angle C
by adding angle B in both sides
3 ( angle C) > angle A + angle B +angle C
as sum of all angles of a triangle = 180°
so,
3 (angle C) > 180°
angle C > 60°
Thus, proved that Angle C is > 60°.
