(a) As resistances are in series, therefore Resistance in arm CE = 2 + 4 = 6 ohm.

(b) Total resistance in circuit = (1/6 + 1/6)^(-1) = 3 ohm.

Total Emf = 3V

According to Ohm's Law, V = IR.

So, 3 V = I×3 ampere

I = 1 ampere.

(c) As resistances in both parallel arms (AB and CE) are same, therefore current in each arm becomes half. Therefore, 1/2 ampere = 0.5 Ampere in each arm.
