Given f(x) = p^2 + 5p + 4.

Given g(x) = p + 1.

We need to divide f(x) with g(x).

              p + 4
         -----------------------
p + 1) p^2   +  5p  +  4

         p^2   +  p

         ----------------------

                      4p  +   4

                      4p   +  4

          -----------------------

                                 0.

Therefore Quotient = p + 4 with remainder = 0.

Hope this helps!
