a) Series

Rs=R1+R2   [Series combination formula]

Rs=10+10=20 ohm

 V=IR

 6=I*20

I=6/20 Ampere

b) Parrallel

1/Rp=1/R1+1/R2     [Parallel combination formula]

1/Rp=1/10+1/10

1/Rp=2/10

Rp=5 ohm

V=IR

I=6/5  Ampere

By the formula,

P=VI  ,we can solve it where P= Power ,V=Potential difference ,I=Current

Power of series=6*6/20=36/20

Power of parallel=6*6/5=36/5

Ratio=(36/20)/36/5

 Ratio= 4:1

Hope it will help you !!
