Explanation:

usually when a plant cell is kept in water..if it's hypertonic the protoplasam will get together...leaving. away from cell wall

if it's hypotonic then what happens is this that the the cell starts to swell without bursting because the cell membrane will swell same time the cell wall exerts pressure

due to the equal pressure the plant cell is able to withstand without bursting.
