I am begineer too and i puchased C# scale bansuri from subhas thakur (Punam Flutes C Sharp Medium Flute/Bansuri with Flute Carry Case) .Before i went to purchase i thought of buying G natural bass but due to tight on budget purchased C# scale and after almost 3 months on it i think it was a right choice as it is easy to hold and i easily cover all its hole. However before purchasing this i bought a Rs 50 flute from a local store just to check whether am i really passionate about learning bansuri
