yes, his luck had changed for a while as he was selected in the team and got a chance to show his skills and what he was worthy of,and as time went he showed more improvements as an all rounder and even when he was not sure about his carrier his luck just shined bright on him and there he was replacing an  all time player. his life was totally changed after he went into the team. he started getting more and more opportunities to show off his skills and make a better name of himself.he probably took that opportunity and showed the selectors how much better he could make of his team and help it grow better.all in all getting replaced by a legend player like Mr. Pinto was his luck that had helped him to show the selectors about his strength and capabilities.
