a=16cm/s
y=4cm
as we know a=omega^2×y
omega=
 \sqrt{a \div y}
omega=4/2=2rad/s
T=2pi/omega
T=2×3.14/2
T=3.14 option c

Given :

acceleration ( a ) = 16 cm / s²

distance ( d ) = 4 cm

We know that ω = √( a / d )

                            = √ ( ( 16 cm / s² ) / 4 cm )

                            = √ 4 / s²

==> ω = 2 / s

We know that :

f = ω / 2 π

So : 1 / T = ω / 2 π

==> T = 2 π / ω

         = 2 × 3.142 s / 2

         = 3.142 s approx.

ANSWER:

OPTION C

Hope it helps !
