dam is a type of room where the water store, it helps in irrigation, transport of water from urban area to rural area, control floods also that's why we seek to build large dams. the main problems which is developed by dams are-
1) it displaces a large amount of forest and leads to deforestation
2) it demands a large amount of public money for build
3) it also displaces the number of houses of people which cause a major demerit of it.

DAMS CAUSE AFFECTING OF BIODIVERSITY IN THAT REGION...
DAMS ALSO CAUSES MANY WATER MEDIUM TRANSPORTED DISEASE AS IT GETS CONTAMINATED AND AFFECT OUR HEALTH..
IF NOT MANAGED PROPERLY DAMS CAN EVEN COLLAPSE AND LEAD TO A LARGE CALAMITY LEADIND TO DISASTER ...
