Answer:

Height of the wall = 4 m = 400 cm

Length of the wall = 15 m = 1500 cm

Width of the wall = 30 cm

∴ Volume of the wall = (400 * 1500 * 30) cm^3 = 18000000 cm^3

Given that 1/12 volume of wall consist of mortar .

Volume of the wall consisting of mortar = 18000000 cm^3 / 12 = 1500000 cm^3

So, that Volume of wall consisting of bricks = 18000000 - 1500000 = 16500000 cm^3.

Dimensions of brick l = 20 cm,  b = 12.5 cm, h = 7.5 cm.

Volume of each brick = (20 x 12.5 x 7.5) cm^3 = 1875 cm^3

Now the number of bricks in wall = Volume of the wall consisting of bricks / Volume of one brick.

Number of bricks in wall = 16500000/1875 = 8800.

Thus, there are 8800 bricks in the wall.

Hence, the required number of bricks is 8800.

Answer:

N=175

Step-by-step explanation:

Wall

L=15m

B=30cm =0.3m=3/10

H=4m

Now, Brick

L=24cm

B=12.5cm=125/10

H=7.5cm=75/10

Now,

LBH of wall =LBH of bricks into n (where n is a number of brick)

N=175
