Here is the solution.
(1/x) +x
=(1+x²) / x
putting the value of x
= [1+(3-2√2)²] / (3-2√2)
= [1+9+8-12✓2] (3+2√2) / (3-2√2)(3+2√2)
= [(18-12√2) (3+2√2)] / (9-8)
= [54+36√2 -36√2 -48] / 1
= 6
