Pulp and paper industry is one of the most water and energy consuming industry in the world. ... Waste and wastewaters are generated from both of pulp and bleaching processes. Additionally, 100 million kg of toxic pollutants are released every year from this industry (Cheremisinoff & Rosenfeld, 1998).
