population distribution is even Brazil this statement is false , because Out of the 157,872,000 inhabitants, only 10% live inland, while others live on the 500 kilometers long eastern coast which is only 25% of the total area of the country.

The population density is very low in north-west part of the country, and there are some remote areas that absolutely have no inhabitance.

I hope this will be helpful...

The population of Brazil is about 157,872,000...

The population distribution is not even in brazil as only about 10% of its population live inland and around 90% live near the east coast.

This is because:

~ The inlands are rural areas

~ Fishing is still an important activity and hence the coastal areas are convenient

~ It is cooler near the coast in comparison to the inlands

~ The inlands often face droughts

~ The ports of brazil provide employment for many

~ Transport links are strong near the coasts but weaker in the inlands

~ The soil in the inlands are infertile, rocky and thin. Hence they don't yield good amount of crops.

~ The flat-lying low relief near the coasts are suitable for settlement

~ The inlands have comparatively fewer natural resources

Hope this helps :)
