WORLD AIDS DAYWorld AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1 each year around the world.  It has become one of the most recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on and celebrate victories such as increased access to treatment and prevention services. This year World AIDS Day falls on #GivingTuesday and the National Worlds AIDS Day theme is The Time to Act is Now! Please consider donating money or goods to our Street Outreach Campaign. Each week HAART staff visit neighborhoods during the early morning hours to give food, toiletries and HIV information to our community's homeless. Some mornings we meet homeless veterans other days we meet families with small kids. On World AIDS Day, we would like to hand out warm clothing along with toiletries and a hot meal.
