The Postman is a useful public servant. 
He works in the Postal department and is a source of joy to all. 
The Postman on duty carries a bag containing letters, parcels and money orders hanging on his left shoulder. 
The Postman has peculiar dress. He wears a ‘khaki’ coat and a big turban with red strap. He puts on a loose trouser. 
Wherever the postman goes, he is a welcome visitor. We feel happy at his coming on account of his good behavior. 
The duties of a postman are very hard. He gets up early in the morning to go to his post office. There he sorts the letters of his ward from a large heap of letters. He goes from street to street and house to house to deliver these letters. The further he goes, the lighter becomes his load. 
He delivers a letter to this one, a parcel or a bundle of gifts to another and a money order to the third. At the end of his round his bag is almost empty. 
He is a link between friend and realties. 
He keeps them in touch by his quick and regular service. 
Every one waits for his arrival with eagerness. He is a messenger of all sorts of news
