Hi I have your answer
1)Draw a line segment and name it PQ .
2)Now measure the line segment with the help of protrater having both end pointed.(the double sided protrater is available at the side of normal protrater in your geometry box)
3) Now you will get the measurement of the line segment PQ
4)Now you can draw a line segment equal to the line segment PQ.
(do not forget to write the steps of construction)
