100 for rs400

100-30=70

70×5=350

Bp=Rs400

Sp=Rs350

Therefore it is a

\sf{\underline{\pink{Answer-}}}

  • Pramod had a loss of Rs 50 in the deal.

\sf{\underline{\pink{Given-}}}

  • Pramod bought 100 bunches of methi greens for Rs 400 in a sudden downpour, 30 of the bunches on his handcart got spoilt he sold the rest at the rate of rs 5 each.

\sf{\underline{\pink{We\:Have\:To\:Find-}}}

  • He make a profit or a loss? How much?

\sf{\underline{\pink{Explanation-}}}

\sf \: CP \:  of  \: 100  \: bunches \:  of \:  methi  \: greens =  \: Rs \:  400

\sf \: Number  \: of  \: bunches \:  get \:   spoiled \:  = \:  30

\sf \: Number  \: of  \: bunches\:  left \:  =  \: 100  \: −  \: 30 = 70

\sf \: SP  \: of  \: 1 \:  bunch  \: of  \: methi \:  greens = Rs  \: 5

\sf \: Thus, \: selling \:  price \:  of  \: 70  \: bunches \:  of  \: methi  \: greens-

\sf \: \: 5 × 70 = Rs  \: 350

\sf \:SP  \: is  \: less \:  than \:  CP, so \:  there \:  is \:  a  \: loss.

➨⠀\sf \: Loss = CP − SP

➨⠀\sf \: 400 −  \: 350

➨⠀\sf  \: Rs \: 50

  • Hence, Pramod had a loss of Rs 50 in the deal.
