Ekalavya faced many problems. He is a prince from a tribe and did not received that much education than the princes of hastinapur. He is asked his right hand thumb as his fee by dronacharya. So in order to respect his guru's order he cut his thumb and gave him. He made a statue of dronacharya in his cave. But dronacharya gave more importance to Arjuna. In the Mahabharata ekalavya took his position in the side of kauravas,as he was a friend of jarasandha and also made friend of duryodhana. He got killed by Lord Krishna as he supported for the side of kauravas in his birth as ekalavya. Krishna also gave him a boon that he would be born as the son of drupad as dhristadyumna and killed dronacharya. he is the cousin of lord Krishna.
