Answer:

In the case of no insulation in spacesuit, people would freeze or get burnt with solar radiation and heat. Thus, insulation is very necessary to keep them safe.

Explanation:

A space suit is a garment that is worn by astronauts when they are in the space, in the spacecraft or outside the spacecraft. The spacesuit has around '13 layers of material' necessary for them to survive.

We know that there is certain 'pressure inside the aircraft' and so the garment is lighter to make them comfortable as we know there is no or little gravity in the space.

The spacesuit is heavy so that if the astronaut may need to walk on the 'surface of the moon', it provides protection against the atmosphere of space.

The space suit has an insulation layer of neoprene, gore-tex, Dacron and reflective outer layer to protect from sunlight. This protects them from severe cold and extremely hot conditions.
