The fourth Anglo-Mysore war was in between south India between the kingdom of Mysore against the British East company and the Hyderabad deccan in 1798-99. The british captured the capital of Mysore. The kingdom of Mysore became a princely statein asubsidiary alliance and british India and ceded coimbatore, Dakshina bKannada and Uttara Kanadda to the British.
