Stock is a type of resource which is available in our environment and which can also Satisfy needs but we don't have appropriate technology to access them. For example in our surroundings where having solar energy in the places like Rajasthan but there we don't have enough technology to use that resource that's why it is a stock. Another example is wind energy in Gujarat but they are also we don't have enough technology to use that resource that's why it is under stock category.

Reserves is a type of resource in which we are having appropriate technology and it can also satisfy our needs but we have conserved them for future generations.

For example water we had save water for hydroelectricity.

Another examples trees we are not using many of the forests because we had save them for future generations.
