The Answer is:
A baby seagull that is scared to fly is the subject of "Liam O' Flaherty's" short tale "His First Flight."
- All of his smaller siblings soared freely despite having much shorter wings than he had, but he lacked the bravery to believe in his own wings.
- When the young seagull seen his parents honing the flying skills of his younger siblings, he grew upset. For not even attempting, his parents reprimand and make fun of him.
- He is even referred to as a "coward." They advise him strongly to at least try, and if he doesn't, they'll leave him hungry and alone.
- He is abandoned the next day, and when he becomes hungry, he attempts to get his family members' attention.
- Just the mother, who is trying to eat a fish that is rotting, recognises his son.
- The starving juvenile seagull calls out, expecting his mother would come to his aid. He becomes pleased when he sees his mother approaching him carrying the fish.
- But when he saw that his mother had halted in the middle, he became enraged and hungry and dove for the fish, temporarily forgetting that he was terrified to fly.
- He finally took his maiden flight. His entire family surrounds him while applauding and dancing to celebrate his triumph.
- He also makes an attempt to float in the water, which he used to fear.
- He overcame his dread as a result and understood everything was in his thoughts.
