                                       Feelings of homeless child

Children feel happy and protected in the company of their parents and family members. Though a child may like to watch TV alone in another room or play by himself or herself, but the parents must be present nearby; only then he/she can enjoy. If a child is alone at home, he/she won’t be able to enjoy anything.

Similarly, if a child gets lost, he will be sad, miserable, and unhappy. The toys, trinkets, delicious eatables, friends, shows, etc. tempt him only in the company of his parents; if he gets lost all these things lose value.

There is a famous story, The Lost Child, by Mulak Raj Anand in which we see a child going to the fair with his parents he is very happy and excited and wants everything; but when he is separated from his parents, he only wants them back. A kind man who finds him crying in the crowd, offers him all the things that he had wanted earlier; the child doesn’t want any of them, he just wants to be reunited to his parents.

In conclusion we can say that the feelings of a homeless child are directed towards only one direction – he just wants to be with his parents and reach home.
