now you have to prepare CH3-CO-NH2 from CH3-CH2-NH2

so follow this :-

CH3-CH2-NH2 + NaNO2 + HCl -------> CH3-CH2-OH

CH3-CH2-OH + K2Cr2O7 + H+ ---------> CH3-COOH

CH3-COOH + SOCl2 ---------> CH3-CO-Cl + SO2 + HCl

CH3-CO-Cl + NH3 -------> CH3-CO-NH2 (acetamide)
