- Distillation:- The process of separating the components or substances from a liquid mixture by using selective boiling and condensation.
- Centrifugation:- The process where a mixture is separated through spinning. A technique used for the separation of particles from a solution according to their size, shape, density, viscosity of the medium and rotor speed.
- Sedimentation:- The processes of letting suspended material settle by gravity. A process of settling down of the heavier particles present in a liquid mixture.
- Seperating Funnel:- A common fixture in chemistry labs. These funnels are used to separate immiscible liquids from their solutes. The funnel is usually glass, pear-shaped, and usually includes a stopper and a stopcock.
