❤Hey!❤

In angiospermic plants, the double fertilisation produces diploid zygote or oospore and triploid primary endosperm cell simultaneously. Primary endosperm cell produces endosperm which provides nutrition for the development of zygote into an embryo. This avoids the wastage of endosperm as it is formed along with syngamy.

Thanks❤

Answer:

●Angiosperms, or flowering plants, undergo a uniqueprocess called double fertilization.

The second sperm cell fuses with two polar nuclei, creating a triploid endosperm. This endosperm will feed the embryo as it grows.

●It restores the diploid condition by fusion of haploid male and female gametes.

●It results in the formation of diploid zygote, which develops into an embryo and gives rise to a new plant.
