The two tornadoes Fani & Hudhud is being compared as enlisted below in the following points as follows,
- Cyclone Fani hit Indian coast between the dates of April to May 2019, the cyclone Fani categorized as the extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Fani was a Category 4 tropical Cyclone which emerged due to the result of Depression in the Sumatra west situated in Indian Ocean which intensified and has hit the coast evidently by of May.
- Whereas, Cyclone Hudhud hit Indian coast between the dates of October to October 2014. It emerged out of low pressure created over the Andaman Sea and hit Indian states along with Nepalese state being category 4 Tropical Cyclone. the effects were large as the cyclone Hudhud made evacuation of over 7 lac people in Andhra Pradesh with destruction of bridges and vegetation.
- The cyclone of Fani hit the coastal state and had extremely high rate of velocity of wind blowing causing debris to fly and falling of trees, whereas, similar was cyclone Hudhud, started as the moderate wind shear and intensified as the extreme wind and heavy rainfall with destruction all over the way of travel.
- Cyclone Hudhub hit the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh specially Visakhapatnam which drifted towards the north Uttar Pradesh as well as Nepal states. Cyclone Fani on the other hand, hit the Indian state of Orissa and Bangladeshi states.
