Properties of a compound are different from its constituents, while a mixture shows that property of bits constituent elements. Justify this statement by taking the example of iron and sulphur

take a mixture of Sulphur and iron fillings in a dish move a magnet near it. the iron fillings stick to it. then take powder of iron sulphide and move a magnet near it. it wouldn't stick to the magnet.
