Then,

Here acceleration is due to gravity
Then,
Force = M * g ......(2)
From (1) and (2)
Work done= M * g * displacement ..(3)
Then,
Here displacement is h
Displacement = h ...(4)
Then ,
From (3) and (4)
Work = M*g*h
Work=Mgh
