Prove that 1 - cos²β = sin²β

hey here is your answer

taking LHS FIRST

1-cos2B

we know cos2B=1-sin2B


putting these values in LHS


SOO

1-(1-SIN2B)
1-1+SIN2B
SIN2B

SOOO LHS=RHS

As per the theorem

⇒Sin²β+Cos²β= 1

⇒Sin²β = 1- Cos²β   (By subtracting Cos²β on both the sides)
