SOLUTION :

LHS= (1+i)⁴×(1+1/i)⁴

= [(1+i)²]²×[(1-i)²]² [Here, 1/i = i/i² = i/-1 = -i]

= (1-1+2i)²×(1+i²-2i)²

= 4(i)² × 4(i)²

= -4 × (-4)

= 16 = RHS
