Answer:

(1-sin² theta) (sec² theta) =1

LHS=

(1-sin² theta) (sec² theta)

=(cos² theta) (sec² theta)

=(cos² theta) (1/cos² theta)

cos² theta and cos² theta get cancelled...

So you will get 1 which is equal to RHS

Hence proved

This is the most appropriate and simple, easy answer..

Question:

To show : ( 1 - sin²Ø ) (sec²Ø) = 1

Solution:

since, LHS = ( 1 - sin²Ø) (sec²Ø)

=> LHS = cos²Ø x sec²Ø [ 1- sin²Ø = cos²Ø]

=> LHS = cos²Ø x 1/cos²Ø [ secØ = 1/cos²Ø]

=> LHS = 1

=> LHS = RHS
