Answer:

LHS= sec²theta = 1/cos²theta

and

RHS= 1+ tan²theta = 1+ sin²theta / cos²theata =cos²theta + sin²theta/ cos²theta = 1/ cos²theta ( as cos²theata + sin²theta = 1)

LHS = rhs

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

sec²A=1+tan²A

1+tan²A = 1+sin²A/cos²A

             = (cos²A+sin²A)/cos²A

             = 1/cos²A=sec²A

lhs=rhs
