Answer:

According to Commutative property of addition, a+b = b+a, where a and b are rational numbers.

5/6 + 9/3 = 9/3 + 5/6

L.H.S = 5/6 + 9/3 = (5+18) / 6 = 23/6

R.H.S = 9/3 + 5/6 = (18+5) / 6 = 23/6

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, commutative property of addition holds true.
