pure water is always hypotonic in nature which means that it has more water and less amount of particles.

This actually results in a low amount of osmotic pressure.

Even when other sort of cells can be hypotonic in nature where the cells are fully packed and rigid in nature, we also see that some of the cells also tend to be hypertonic in nature.
