Here is your answer,
Pyrexia and febrile responses is
commonly known as a fever. Fever is also
defined as the temperature having range is
above the normal range level due to increased
body temperature above the temperature set
point.
There is not a single agreed on the upper limit
of temperature using the values in between
the
I. e 99.5 and 100.9 F.
Increased temperature above the set point can
increase the muscles constraction, and the
patient feels very cold than normal person.
This results in greater heat production and
efforts to conserves heat.
When the temperature set point goes return to
back or in normal condition, the patient feels
hot, become flushed and may begin to sweat.
Rarely fever may causes a febrile seizure.
This is commonly found in the children's.
