They have got needle like leaves which reduces the rate of transpiration rate hence plants are able to store the little water for a long period of time. They have got thick stems for storage of water.
2. Plants in snowy regions have needle like leaves to conserve water by decreasing the surface area of the leaves. Also, the have cone shaped canopy so that snow does not cover the stomata on the leaves by settling on it.
