Respected teachers and my dear friend, I am going to say something about status of old women in Indian society .Dear friends and my loving teacher ,you are already familiar with the word woman and with the role they do for the betterment of human society. Even,because of their sacrifice, our Indian culture has considered women as 'devis'. But increasing number of old age home is becoming a major problem in the modern era.


More we are becoming modern, lesser are we showing sympathy towards human values. We have no sympathy towards our elder.Also it can be seen as a major problem . The main reason for this is the lake of what is Sanskar in our vedas .Parents have pressure to earn more and more money. So they are unable to look after the children . that's why ,cultureless children have no sympathy towards their elders .So, we should create awareness among parents to give more and more time or spend more and more time with his or her children ,So that their children can learn culture and can be a support for them in their old age.



As far as status of old woman in our society is concern,day an pratha is a prevailing evil in rural areas.Old woman in India can be considered as a sign of decreasing human values.Generally,they are considered as a burden.Also,increasing cost of foods,clothes are putting pressure on people .

Now a days,we can see old women begging at temple,roadside or somewhere else.Old age home are also increasing fastly.


The time has come to improve human values ,otherwise ,human will surely become an animal.
