final velocity(v)=0 m/s

time(t)=5 s

using 1st equation of motion,

v=u+at

0=54+5a

5a=-54

a=-54/5

a=-10.8 m/s

retardation= 10.8 m/s

using 2nd equation of motion,

distance(S)=

S=ut+1/2at²

S=54×5+1/2×10.8×5×5

S=270+135 m

S=405m
