i) copper will displace hydrogen and it will form copper sulphate + hydrogen gas.

ii) iron will displace copper and it will form ferous sulphate + copper

1. CuSO4 is formed and H2 released.

H2SO4 + Cu ====> CuSO4 + H2

2. FeSO4 is formed and Cu residues settle in the bottom. The solution turns green.

CuSO4 + Fe ====> FeSO4 + Cu
