Formula:

If r units be the radius and h units be the height of a cone (if mentioned with such data which may indicate the cone to be right circular, we take it as a right circular cone), then its curved surface area is measured by

A = πr {r + √(h² + r²)} unit²

Solution:

For the given cone,

radius (r) = 43 units and

height (h) = 16 units

∴ the surface area of the cone

= π * 43 * {43 + √(16² + 43²)} unit²

= π * 43 * {43 + √(256 + 1849)} unit²

= (22/7) * 43 * (43 + √2105) unit²

= 12011.53 unit²

Answer:

Method:

In the event that r units be the radius and h units be the height of a cone (whenever referenced with such information which may demonstrate the cone to be correct roundabout, we accept it as a correct round cone), at that point its curved surface zone is estimated by

A = πr {r + √(h² + r²)} unit²

Arrangement:

For the given cone,

range (r) = 43 units and

height (h) = 16 units

∴ the surface zone of the cone

= π * 43 * {43 + √(16² + 43²)} unit²

= π * 43 * {43 + √(256 + 1849)} unit²

= (22/7) * 43 * (43 + √2105) unit²

= 12011.53 unit²
