Eutrophication is happened when oxygen level of water is decreased. when large amount of soap, or detergent is mixed in water, algae takes up these soap and detergent and after a certain time period it will die. Bacteria eat the dead matter and also it takes oxygen for respiration and all processes. Thus oxygen level in water decreases. When oxygen level of water is decreased aquatic plants and animals would not be able to survive.

EuTrOpHiCaTiOn is a process in which a body of water becomes enriched in dissolved nutrients (as phosphates) that stimulate the growth of aquatic plant life usually resulting in the depletion of dissolved oxygen.
