Q. What is the convention of acceleration at the highest point, when a body is thrown vertically upwards???

Plz answer this with correct explanation...

at the highest point or any other arbitrary point on its path of motion the value of 'g' is always the same.

at the highest point or anywhere during the motion the acceleration is negative.

(provided u take the upward direction as positive)

though there is a convention about velocity that at the highest point the velocity in the y direction becomes zero and only velocity along x direction is present.
