We know that, mass of an object never can vary with the respect to he time and distance. The weight of an object can varies with respect to the height and distance, it is dependent on the gravitational force of the respected planet. If it would be regarding weight hen we could say that the weight of the object at the surface of the moon would be 1/6 of the weight that of the weight of the object on the surface of the earth. But, the question is related to mass, not related to weight and mass is a scalar quantity or fundamental quantity while weight is vector quantity or derived quantity. So, there will be no change in the mass it will remain as the same. So, the mass of the object on the surface of the moon will be nothing but only 2 kg and it is constant for every case.
