Q1) Trees of evergreen forests do not shed their leaves at any time of the year.

Trees of the deciduous forest shed their leaves in some specific season,to save the loss of water and moisture through transportation.

As these are sensitive to temperature, evergreen forests can survive in warm whether.

Q2) The north east monsoon commonly known as winter monsoon blows from land to sea whereas south west monsoon known as summer monsoon from sea to land after crossing the Indian ocean,the Arabian sea and the bay of Bengal.The south west monsoon brings most of the rainfall during a year in the country.

Q3) It is bordered by the Western ghats on its west and eastern ghats on its east.While the Western ghats are continuous mountain ranges called Shayadri;Eastern ghats are discontinuous mountain ranges.

Q4) Thorn forests are commonly found at dry places.They have plants and trees with thorns so named as thorn forest.Mangrove forest are the tropical costal vegetation consisting of such specis.Such forests have trees that grows in costal saline or brackish water.

Q5) Bhangar is composed of line nodules which are also called kanker.It was a clayey composition.The khadar is light in colour and consists of deposits.Khadar soil is more fertile than Bhangar as it gets replenished by new layers of soil every year during monsoon floods.
