Acceleration = Change in velocity / Change in time.

Let :

Initial velocity be u and final velocity be v also time t .

=> a = Δ v / Δ t

= > a = ( v - u ) / t - 0

= > a t = v - u

= > v = u + a t .

We know :

Average velocity = Total distance covered / Total time taken.

= > ( v + u ) / 2 = s / t

= > s = ( v + u ) t / 2

From equation first we have :

v = u + a t

= > s = ( u + a t + u ) t / 2

= > s = ( 2 u + a t ) t / 2

= > s =  u t + 1 / 2 a t²

We know first equation :

v = u + a t

Squaring both side :

v² = ( u + a t )²

= > v² = u² + a² t² + 2 u a t

= > v² = u² + 2 u a t + a² t²

Take out '2 a' common :

= > v² = u² + 2 a ( u t + 1 / 2 a t² )

Using equation second we get :

= > v² = u² + 2 a s

Hence we get all required answer.
