Once upon a time, there lived a rich man. He had numerous servants around him. One day, one of his servants stole his purse from his drawer. It had a lot of money inside it. The man filed a complaint in the police station. The police suspected the servants and thus all of them were called. To find the guilty one, a stick of same length was given to each of them. Then, they were told that the stick of the thief would grow by one inch overnight. The thief was afraid that he would get caught. He decided to cut his stick by one inch. The next morning, when all the servants were called, the real thief was easily caught.
